Toxic Toy Testing in Grosse Pointe

LocalMotionGreen @ Ecology Center will present "Our Toxic Stuff", a workshop examining the connection between our health and our stuff. Families will also learn how they can reduce their exposure to harmful chemicals in everyday products. Participants are encouraged to bring children's toys, beach gear, pet toys, or other household items to have them tested for toxic chemicals on site.

Co-sponsor, State Representative Alberta Tinsley-Talabi is expected to discuss new legislation giving Michiganders the right to know what's in children's products, helping families to better protect their children from dangerous chemicals, like cadmium, arsenic, and mercury. View Flyer
